The items sold on this website come with the standard manufacturer’s warranty which is typically one year from date of shipment, against defects in workmanship and material. Due to the nature of our website and products listed we have a strict warranty and return policy. Please feel free to contact us for additional details or to request a copy of the manufacturer’s warranty. SSE reserves the right to repair, replace or refund as appropriate. Limited warranties are only valid when the product is used in the intended application and when installed, assembled and maintained properly and in accordance with the instructions. Normal deterioration of products due to weather, wear and tear or other causes that do not affect the function and use are not covered. Alteration or modification of the product will void any warranty. SSE will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any nature. Products that have been deemed to meet the manufacturer’s standard warranty and the aforementioned conditions may be returned within the warranty period and in accordance with the return policy described. All returns must be authorized by SSE. Please contact customer service at 1-800-644-8875 and secure a return authorization number. Due to the nature of our website and products listed we have a strict warranty and return policy. All returned merchandise must be returned unused, in first quality condition and must be postmarked within (30) thirty days from the date the product was shipped. The return authorization number must appear on the shipping label. The customer is responsible for the original shipping and return shipping cost. All returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% depending on the manufacturer’s policy. Custom orders are not refundable.
Contact SSE within 24 hours if you wish to cancel an order you have placed. We cannot guarantee the cancellation of an order after 24 hours as some products may ship within that period. Cancellation requests received after 24 hours may be subject to restocking and shipping fees.
Payment is due upon placement or an order. SSE does offer net 30 day terms to public institutions and approved accounts. We accept most major credit cards. C.O.D shipping is not available.
SSE representatives are available to help you with an order from 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST, M – F. Please verify that your order is accurate as the customer is responsible for all freight charges and a restocking fee of up to 25%. Please contact us if you would like to place an order via purchase order, phone, fax or mail and we will be glad to assist you in doing so.
SSE reserves the right to correct pricing due to increased cost or catalog errors in pricing and/or specifications. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Orders will be promptly processed upon receipt, if any changes to price or specification are required the customer will be notified prior to us processing the order.
State and local sales tax will be added to all orders shipping to FL and GA unless your organization is a branch of the federal government and/or is exempt. Evidence of tax exempt status must be provided to SSE or the taxes will be charged.
Processing of your order begins as soon as payment is received. Most orders will ship within 3 - 5 business days. If you require delivery by a certain date please contact us when placing your order.
The cost of shipping will be added to your order. The actual price of shipping may vary from what is quoted online. In these instances a representative will contact you with the updated shipping cost prior to processing the order. Many items on the site will be shipped via standard UPS or FedEx delivery. Other items will ship LTL Freight. LTL Freight shipments are curbside delivery unless you pay extra for inside delivery, lift gate or residential delivery. Call us for a shipping estimate that includes any of these shipping options or to obtain a freight estimate for shipments outside the US.
Title passes to the customer at the time a shipment is delivered to the freight carrier. Upon receipt and before signing for the delivery, inspect all shipments for damage and/or shortages. If a shipment is damaged or a shortage has occurred it must be noted on the freight delivery document at the time of shipment. You should keep all receipts, cartons and packaging materials and take pictures of noted damage if possible. Failure to follow the above procedures may invalidate your claim against the carrier.
Freight claims for lost or damaged goods must be made to the freight carrier and are the responsibility of the customer. Notifications regarding any damaged merchandise must be made within 48 hours. Please contact SSE immediately for assistance, we will be happy to help in filing a claim given the proper procedures have been followed.
Although we will do everything in our power to meet any obligations set forth, we will not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance if and to the extent caused by the occurrence of a Force Majeure. For purposes of this Agreement, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Party claiming Force Majeure, including acts of God, fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism, accident, restraint of government, governmental acts, injunctions, labor strikes and other like events that are beyond reasonable anticipation and control despite any reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate the effect of such acts, events or occurrences.
